Responsibilities
The Junior Test Automation Engineer automates repetitive test activities using some testing tools and scripting language, so that the test coverage is optimum, and so that defects are quickly identified.
The test automation covers all platforms (websites, mobile apps, APIs, backend).
Job Duties
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts
- Develop and maintain test data
- Schedule test runs, and analyze test results
- Log issues in JIRA and follow-up on issues raised
- Work closely with the developers and business analysts
- Participate in the DevOps activities
- Work closely with the QA team to promote and maximise the use of test automation
Requirements
- Computer engineering degree holder
- Familiar with HTML, Xpath, and Java/Groovy
- Eager to learn new skills
- Team player
- New graduates welcome
