Responsibilities
The Junior UI Developer/ Graphic Designer will combine the art of design with the art of programming. He/she will support MrKumka bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the website and application looks as well as how it works.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, web design materials, UI & mobile web page design, mobile web landing pages, and UI A/B testing ideas. He/she must be aware of UI trends. The Junior UI Developer will work closely with MrKumka team and with the IT team when required.
Job Duties
- Design and build the digital assets of the company, including but not limited to display ads, email templates, Facebook ads, and other creative contents
- Design and develop new UI for the online customer journey, from visit to online transactions and sales
- Implement new UI creatives, by testing and then launching in production by following the deadlines
- Work closely with the UX/UI Web Designer, the rest of the marketing department, IT department, and external parties when required
- Update UI styles in existing MrKumka’s product layouts on website and mobile
- Translate UI design wireframes to actual code to produce rich web applications
- Good for HTML/HTML5, CSS, CMS, Web editor, Bootstrap, PHP and Java script for front-design coding
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas and collaborate with his/her peers
- Propose and develop new user-facing features
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI designs
- Optimize website for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with the team to A/B test new UI designs
- Contributes to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interfaces, and the use of new technologies
- Support the definition of UI best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in design/IT or related field.
- Experience in Editor UI/Coding suite.
- Experience in creating Prototypes (Ability to code the prototypes is an advantage)
- Ability to code HTML and CSS. (JavaScript is a strong advantage)
- Knowledge of EDM template and HTML is a plus
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro
- Ability to product of video production, editing, sound effects, and similar capabilities with understanding how Adobe Premiere and/or Adobe After Effects operates are plus)
