Responsibilities
The marketing automation executive is responsible for the day-to-day analysis and testing of the marketing automation journeys. This includes ownership of the setup, maintenance, and continuous improvement of one-time communication and marketing automations journeys through email, SMS, and push notifications.
Job Duties
- Overview the automation communication process workflow including development of the communication journeys, ad-hoc newsletters and SMS, template design, copywriting, CTAs, and customer segmentation
- Manage email marketing, including planning, formatting, optimizing, and distributing email messages and marketing campaigns
- Make sure email distributions follow marketing best practices, applicable regulations, anti-spam laws, and brand standards
- Maximize open rate, click rate, customer retention, and new customer conversions by email, push notifications and SMS
- Use analytics and metrics to analyse campaign results, test and improve
- Make useful suggestions on improving automation processes
- Run A/B or multivariate tests on subjects, CTAs, content, segmentation, and automation triggers
- Troubleshoots user experience and technical issues related to templates, list segmentation and other aspects of marketing automations
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience within in email marketing
- Good analytical and statistical skills
- Knowledge of HTML for email templates
- Experience with at least one email marketing automation platform (ex. Hubspot, Mailchimp, SendGrid, ActiveCampaign) is mandatory
- Experience with Salesforce is an asset, Marketing Cloud is a strong advantage
- Experience with Excel
- Fluent in English
- Ability to collaborate with people from different departments and collect requirements and resources
