Roojai.com is a website belonging to Roojai group companies (“Roojai”) which include Roojai Co., Ltd., Roojai Service Co., Ltd. and Ignite Service (Thailand) Co., Ltd. It is managed by us. Any content on the Website is made on behalf of all companies in Roojai group.

Our Website does not provide any advice in relation to personal matters, financial matters, investments or any other advice, thus you should make your own decision before following any information on the Website or other links on our Website.

For your convenience in using our Website, there may be links to websites which are owned and managed by third parties. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or security of the information on such third party websites.

We reserve the right to change any information on the Website or suspend the operation of the Website for improvement and maintenance at any time, without prior notice to you. Please check the last d date every time.

Our Website, products and services (“Products”) are provided for the use of and the purchase by Thai citizens and those permitted to legally reside in Thailand. Our Website and Products may not be legally accessed or purchased in some countries. Therefore, by visiting our Website and purchasing our Products, any person with a nationality other than Thai shall be liable to the legality as such of his/her nationality or of other countries that such person is subject to by himself/herself. For all transactions, the price and payment shall be in Thai Baht only.

You warrant that you will not use this Website for other purposes than acting as a customer. You warrant that you will not cause any damage to this Website.


The content on our Website shall not be considered as an offer to sell our Products. Only your request to purchase our Products shall be considered as an offer, which we may accept or decline by taking our Terms and Conditions into account.

All requests in relation to the Products on our Website shall be in accordance with the requirements specified by relevant product owners such as insurers. Please read additional details in your policy.

By giving information or documents to us, it is considered that you agree with our Privacy Policy. You also warrant that such information and documents are accurate, complete, up-to-date, and safe. Should there be any change, you have an obligation to immediately notify us of such change. In case we find out that the information about you or your insured vehicle is in conflict with the information given to us, we reserve our right to cancel your policy and claim for damages (if any), or use our new terms and conditions and new price as per our own consideration, notwithstanding the fact that such finding happens after our acceptance of your offer and/or your payment.

We will not be liable for any loss and/or damage arising from your failure to comply with your obligation in the previous paragraph. This shall include but is not limited to, you not receiving information or documents as a result of your failure to notify the changes to your contact channel or document delivery channel, except for the case where these are attributable to our mistake solely.

  1. Quotations

    If you are a new customer, our insurance premium quotation is valid for 30 days from the date the quotation was created.

    If you are an existing customer who would like to renew your policy, our insurance premium quotation is valid for 120 days from the date the quotation was created.

    In the case that you are an existing customer who would like to renew your policy and we issue an insurance premium quotation to you, and if you declare a claim thereafter, we will consider that such quotation has expired immediately. You can contact us for a new quotation.

    In any case, the price you obtained from other comparison websites or our partners’ website is subject to any change due to the discrepancies between the information you fill in on such websites and our database. Please check with our customer service team again before payment.

  2. Vehicles with Modification or accessories

    The premium you received from our Website or comparison websites or our partners’ website excludes coverage for vehicle modifications or accessories. We reserve our right to change the premium and the terms and conditions of the policy, or our decision to underwrite your policy, if your vehicle has any modifications or accessories, regardless of our prior acceptance of your offer and/or your payment.

  3. Vehicle Inspection

    We reserve our right to change the premium and the terms and conditions of your policy or cancel your policy in accordance with the vehicle inspection report after the vehicle inspection of the insured vehicle, regardless of our prior acceptance of your offer and/or your payment.

  4. Use of Vehicle

    We reserve our right to cancel your policy or change our underwriting decision on your policy in the case that :

    1. the maximum weight of the vehicle when loaded exceeds 4 tonnes.
    2. the vehicle is used for public hire or rental.
    3. the vehicle is used for carrying hazardous goods.
    4. the vehicle is a pick-up and is used to transport passengers or livestock in the bed of the pick-up truck.
    5. the vehicle is equipped with specialized equipment, including, but not limited to :

      - refrigeration units.
      - liquid tanks.
      - cement mixers.
      - hydraulic / dumping pick-up truck beds.

  5. Adding Driver to Named Driver Plan

    We reserve our right to change the premium or our decision to underwrite your policy if you would like to name additional drivers on your named driver plan policy.

  6. Supporting Document

    You may receive all documents related to your policy via electronic means. This is subject to your consent given to us. However, there may be some documents that we are not legally allowed to deliver to you via electronic means, in which case we will deliver such documents to you by post.

  7. Renewal of Policy

    1. Automatic Renewal, If you give consent for us to automatically renew your policy, we will automatically renew your policy at the end of your policy period. Automatic renewal option is only available for payment by credit card or debit card. For customers choosing instalment payment, subject to payment the payment of the new policy will be made in advance as follows:

      1. 1st Instalment: 60 days before the renewal date;

      2. 2nd Instalment: 30 days before the renewal date; and

      3. 3rd Instalment: on the renewal date.

      For customers choosing full payment, the payment will be made two days before the renewal date, or any date before the renewal date chosen by customers.

      In any case, we will send you renewal notices with the details of the renewal date and payment 85 days prior to your renewal date. The premium in these notices are not final.

      If you would like to make any change to the coverage or risk details at renewal, please contact us in advance. This could affect the premium.

      You can withdraw your consent of automatic renewal any time by using My Account or you can call our customer service.

    2. Non-automatic Renewal, If you do not give consent for us to automatically renew your policy, we will not renew your policy until you tell us to. You can change your consent option anytime in My Account or you can call our customer service.
    3. In any case, the premium and our decision to renew your policy are subject to your claim history throughout your previous policy period.
  8. Cancellation of Policy

    In order to cancel a policy, the vehicle owner or you shall write a statement notifying the intent to cancel the policy on the copy of the owner’s ID which is certified true copy. In addition, the original policy schedule, tax invoice, supporting documents of promotions and discounts for marketing campaigns (if any) must be returned to us. Once we receive all original documents, we will reimburse your paid premium, after the reduction of any expense such as promotion or discount for marketing campaign via the payment channel notified by you or via credit card if it is your payment method. The reimbursement shall be within 30 days of the date we receive the documents.


You must make payment of any fee by the due date and in accordance with the requirements specified on the payment information page of our Website. We reserve our right to cancel your policy immediately without any advance notice if you fail to do so. The refund shall be in accordance with the terms and conditions of your policy.


Roojai provides you with an affordable premium that you can pay monthly. To do so, Roojai advances the full premium to the insurer on your behalf, in compliance with the Cash-Before-Cover rule prescribed by OIC. By choosing this plan, you agree and accept that if you fail to pay for any instalment, you are in breach of our payment terms and conditions. As a result, Roojai will consider that you have instructed us to cancel your policy. We will ask the insurer to proceed with your policy cancellation. Roojai will attempt to inform you through email, SMS, registered mail and phone. Without payment from you, your policy will expire in no more than 14 days, depending on your instalment plan, after your missed payment.


Roojai My Account is a web-based service that you can use to access your policy details, make changes to some items of information, as well as making online transaction such as purchasing and renewing policies, purchasing other Products, and making payments. You can register your membership of My Account at www.roojai.com.

We reserve our right to ask for the confirmation of your identity during registration, temporarily suspend your account for checking or maintenance, or deactivate your account without advance notice.

All information in your My Account is considered as confidential. You must be the only person who is able to access to such information. Therefore, you shall solely be liable for the confidentiality of your account, username and password.


For the purposes of product development, training, and corruption protection, your telephone conversations with us or your emails sent to us may be recorded. We consider that you give us a consent to use such recordings.


You agree to indemnify damages to us or a third party for any loss or damages either directly or indirectly arising from your violation of the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, other terms and conditions and requirements on other webpages of our Website.


The Terms and Conditions of our Website shall be governed by the laws of Thailand. Should there be any dispute, it will be submitted before the Thai court of jurisdiction.

Should any of the Terms and Conditions be illegal, void, or unenforceable, for any reason, it shall be considered that the aforementioned Terms and Conditions never exist. This shall not affect the validity and enforceability of other Terms and Conditions.

  1. CCTV Camera

    The type of CCTV camera installed on cars shall be those being able to record videos clearly. This shall not include any gadgets adapted to have the same function as CCTV cameras (“camera”). The cameras shall be installed in front of cars and they shall work normally throughout the period of insurance.

  2. Policy Type and Discount

    The discount of premium for the installation of camera shall be at the rate of 5-10 per cent of the net premium, or any rate announced by the OIC. This discount is only for those purchasing voluntary car insurance from of any type with Roojai, which is effective from 3 March 2017. This discount will appear on other discounts of policy schedule.

  3. Procedures to get Discount

    During the policy purchase process, you will be asked to confirm the installation of camera inside and at the front of the insured car throughout the period of insurance. We may ask additional questions for your confirmation again during the welcome call.

  4. Compensation in case of Discounted Policy

    For the policies that the discount for camera is approved, you must provide us with videos and/or photos showing the accidents of the insured cars (“files”). These shall be provided via any channel stated by us once the claims is reported without delay.

    If we find out that there is no camera installed in accordance with these terms and conditions, or if you are unable to or not willing to provide us with the files, via the channel stated by us, you shall be liable for the regulatory excess (OIC excess). The regulatory excess (OIC excess) for the damage incurred with the insured car shall be at the rate of 1,000 Baht per each accident. The consideration to request for this excess shall not restrict the right to reject the payment of compensation in case where claims are reported by fraud, or other rights.

    The payment of this excess to the insurer can be made with the garage upon the completion of repair.

  5. Others

    We reserve our absolute right for the consideration of approving camera discount. This shall be in accordance with the notification of the OIC on the discount of CCTV camera.

    We reserve our right to change any terms and conditions without prior notice to you. In case of dispute, the consideration of Roojai shall be final. If you are not satisfied with it and would like to cancel your policy, you are entitled to refund premium at the rate specified in the table of premium at short rate and in accordance with your policy wording. The return of which is only for the case where you paid the undiscounted premium.

**Warning from the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC)

Please give true information. The non-disclosure of true information or the disclosure of untrue information may constitute the insurer’s right to decline its liability under your insurance in accordance with section 865 of the Civil and Commercial Code.
