The Head of IT ensure that technology is used effectively to support the growth of the company
Job Duties
- Manage the IT team
- Ensure that the team is properly equipped to succeed
- Plan and oversee IT recruitments
- Help remove bottlenecks that may hinder the team progress
- Ensure that the team is fully engaged and committed
- Create a culture of continuous improvement
- Look after the evolution of our platforms
- Identify with the senior management key objectives, and come-up with the IT roadmap
- Oversee and prioritize development activities
- Identify possible technical evolutions together with the regional team
- Ensure that our tools and frameworks are kept up to date
- Look after IT spending
- Manage the IT budget
- Track monthly spending
- Look after IT procurement and vendor selection
- Ensure high quality across all domains
- Identify and implement IT KPIs, and ensure they are met
- Ensure that IT support is adequate
- Ensure that monitoring activities are effective
- Help refine IT processes
- Promote security awareness
- Help enforce IT security guidelines
- Help identify and address security risks
- Look after the ISO certification
- In charge of the company BCP and DRP plan
- Ensure that IT equipment’s and local infrastructure is well managed
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience as an IT Manager in the insurance industry or for some e-commerce company
- Problem solver
- Good interpersonal skills
- Pragmatic and self-driven
