Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong positive relationships with vendors
- Cost-effective purchases and ensure timely delivery
- Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
- Ensure procurement policy is followed
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
Job Duties
- Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
- Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality
- Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts.
- Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Following and enforcing the company’s procurement policies and procedures.
- Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
- Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
- Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
- Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree with Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Accounting / Finance
or any related field - At least 2 years of experience Procurement background or related position.
- Excellent communication and strong negotiation skills.
- Strong personal skills pro-active, flexibility, positive attitude, and able to work under pressure
- Good command in English
- Proficiency in computer skills, MS office, mainly Excel
- Ability to work independently
- Organized and good management skills
